My desk job!

Hey ladies!

I am super excited to get this blog up & running! It's a long overdue to-do list item finally checked off!

I'm Kelley & I'm addicted to everything fashion & black . .  definitely the color black! (who's with me?) I graduated from Texas Tech University (class '08) with a major in Interior Design & minors in Architecture as well as Apparel Design and Manufacturing. A roommate once told me I had a degree in advanced coloring book! Yes there were a bunch of art classes that came with my studies but really that was the best part about my degrees! Who doesn't love creating something beautiful with a glass of wine, or bottle, in hand! After graduation, I hung around town and worked in boutique clothing stores. And, actually liked it! Well maybe not the holiday crowds and hours but every other part of the job, yes! After moving to Houston, Texas I ended up working as an office manager for a diamond wholesale business. (Hi Nicole! & thanks for all the lessons and encouragement!) Hello sparkly things!

But sitting at a desk all day wasn't my thing. So, I opted to go back to doing what I love and get back in the retail game. The husband encouraged me to open my own store online. I would love a store front some day but hey, let's not get ahead of ourselves. So here I am, sitting at a desk (almost) all day! But, I am doing something I love and I get to share my unique sense of style with you!

So, raise a glass if you love wearing black and join me on my journey to bring the color black to your wardrobe year round with a sense of style you make on your own!

It's happy hour somewhere right,
